When it comes to Christmas gifts, sometimes the small stocking fillers are actually the things people get most excited about. I like to focus on ultra-personalized tiny luxuries.
A sampler of Parisian perfumes similar to the one my best friend already wears daily, and a host of other items they’re apt to get daily use from.
Or in some cases not, I love to gift an item a friend will use once in a while when they’re looking to spoil themselves, like a set of collagen sheet masks.
For my sister who is also a mother, I focus on the items she tends to do without as she is always thinking of my nephew rather than herself.
High end teas for her to enjoy after a long day, an impossibly soft robe and bath products for her to use during a rare evening to herself.
If you’re struggling to think of stocking stuffers to round out your gift giving this year, below are a few gifts for her to provide inspiration (keeping in mind these can be personalized in any way that makes sense.)
Opt for Handmade
I love to turn to Etsy to select personalized gifts, while supporting local artisans.
Soy candles, delicate lavender water toner, french linen tea towels, porcelain and ceramic ring dishes, a marble notebook if that’s her style.
There are so many ways to show her you care without going overboard with your spending. It’s not how much you spend, ever.
A Recurring Floral Arrangement
Keeping in mind my last statement, sending someone super special (read: Mom) a recurring gift for her to enjoy each month is an exceedingly thoughtful gesture.
When I do something like this, often times I’ll have them sent on odd days when I’m not around as to create a true surprise and to remind her how much she means to me.
I love Urban Stems (and was not paid by them by any means) as their monthly rates are reasonable, and they source directly from local farms.
Turn to Tech
There are an endless number of ideas for the girl who is always connected.
The Prynt Smartphone Photo Printer will allow her to capture, save, and share memorable moments in real time with those around her (not just on her Instagram feed.)
I was not paid by Prynt to promote that printer, I just love that we are returning to printing photographs again.
For the gal that’s always on the go, the Puku Light Charging Pack is small enough to carry daily, stylish enough that she won’t cringe when the needs arises to use it, and provides a surprising amount of power.
Another nod to my childhood, this retro Luckies Smartphone Magnifier allows you to easily display whatever is playing on your screen in a larger format.
Best in Beauty
These are always a wonderful addition in your gift giving repertoire if you have a handle on the product lines she prefers.
Items like make-up, perfume and cologne certainly aren’t cheap, but now there are so many variations, from mists, to candles and infusers to allow her to enjoy her favorite scent.
This gold Charlotte razor set is a glam yet natural way to let her pamper herself without the hefty price-tag.
Think From the Heart to Home
Many of our friends and family have recently moved into a new place and are in the midst of making it a home.
This customizable Marquee Lightbox allows her to share different messages based on the season or event, or room of the house (I see lots of fun ideas during a dinner party or on the mantle of a living room.)
If she’s a coffee lover, the pour-over options alone are sure to delight. I love this delicate copper version that’s incredibly affordable and available on Amazon.
For the Mogul in the Making
For any female executive, the latest and greatest books in business are either on her to-buy list or close to completion.
Providing both a power book you haven’t seen laying around, along with a small Barnes & Noble or Amazon gift card ensure her thirst for knowledge gets quenched.
Beautiful classic accessories like a matching set of Merino Snug Wool Scarves, gloves, hats and socks can round out your gift giving nicely.
A Noted Gesture
Many women love beautiful stationery, though they may not always choose to invest in it for themselves.
Gift her personalized foil-stamped notecards for under $60 via Minted but think beyond the norm with journals,
If you know she travels a lot or is planning to be traveling soon, then items luxe travel hygiene kits that include her favorite high-end products make a memorable gift.
Other travel items can be things like personalized passport holders, eye masks and neck pillows, even guide books of the places you know she plans to visit.
A fun spin on any travel gift is including a bit of the currency local to their future destination to get them extra excited about the adventures to come.
