Anyone who has made my acquaintance is well aware of my thirst for knowledge.
Though I have been out of college for several years, I continue to take all sorts of classes and travel to attend seminars and conferences.
Skillshare had been on my radar as a resource for a fresh take on online classes in support of Writing, Advertising, Music, Food, Coding and Photography but now for something new.
This online resource is offering courses is Fashion & Style!
Taking a less traditional form of the former more rigid types education, Skillshare’s mission is to reunite us with our passion for learning while making it accessible to everyone with a computer and internet connection.
The Skillshare School of Fashion and Style provides you the platform to learn the essential skills from industry leaders who are currently shaping the world of fashion.
The classes are useful for those of us that create style posts, wish to learn how to take better fashion photography or discover the steps necessary in collaborating with a major brand.
Lessons range from Trendspotting: How to Forecast Beauty Trends, Pitching to Fashion Brands, Intro to Eyewear Design, Jewelry Making Basics, Designing Effective T-Shirt Graphics, Makeup Skills for Evening Looks and so much more!
Notable instructors include Erica from PS – I Made This, Dalia Strum (a professor at FIT), Celebrity Makeup Artist Mario Dedivanovic and Katie Rodgers of PaperFashion with new experts being added each day!
Which class would you enroll in today?
I am quite excited about the Tabletop Styling class!
I was provided a complimentary class in addition to compensation in
collaboration with Skillshare however the above thoughts and opinions are my own.
