A Fortunate Series of Events

It seems these past few days have been a series of fortunate events for me.

Even this mini-blizzard has afforded me an extra hour this morning.

Of course I use it to write, not sleep.

Having gone through a somewhat tough period it seems the clouds have parted

as they always do, reminding me how fortunate I truly am. 

I was meant to attend an event last week but did not do so due to feeling

sick. I sent a message to someone who had RSVP’d as going and asked how it went. 

It had been quite a while since we had previously chatted, but we know dozens of 

the same people and after a bit of back and forth she said:

“How do you even know about my life for the last 5 years!?”

I was taken aback. This girl has achieved a somewhat kind of “local” fame but

had it really gone to her head that she felt I was stalking her every move?

Yikes. Let that never, ever be my attitude…

There are a few changes coming to this little blog.

As my readership is expanding I wish to provide more of the content you value 

most, better photography, new features and a few surprises for good measure.

I am about to embark on a little trip down South with one of my blogger buddies

turned good friend, Jodi. Dallas and Blissdom here we come.

It will be in the 70’s when I land. I’ll take it.

None of the cast from Most Eligible Dallas will be there he’s just yummy.

Being a lifestyle blogger attending my first national conference, in packing I wonder

if I should stick to my easily identifiable New England preptastic fare.

Or should I bring the more fashionable pieces that are a bit less wearable around

Boston (where they must be toned down with neutrals) and risk someone

thinking I am a fashion blogger (who am I kidding, I do not have to worry about that.) 

I know the answer, I will be bringing my leather shorts, eye-catching emerald, gorgeous

heels and anything else that strikes my fancy while packing, last minute no less.

My go-to dark skinnies will be added in there for good measure.

If I were an uber blogger I would have exciting guest-posts for you to read in 

my absence. Maybe next year haha! 

I have no idea if I will have the time or energy to blog at night,

but I will be uploading every sight via my Instagram 

and tweetin‘ all the live long day.
