All thoughts and opinions below are my own.
Embarking on my fifth year of blogging, I have come to realize a great deal about my readers. The posts they love, those that will garner a greater response and the ones people could frankly care less about.
I have noticed when I delve a bit deeper and provide personal glimpses into my daily life,
people love it. I completely understand, as I love when the bloggers I follow do the very same.
Today I am going to tell you what I keep in my bedside drawer and give you a
bit of insight regarding what each item says about me.
First and foremost I use scented liners in each of my drawers as to provide a
pleasant surprise each time I reach inside for one of the following “necessities.”
Lip Balm: I abhor dry lips and protect mine morning, night and all of the moments in between.
Waterford bowl: which collects loose change and that is all.
A separate bowl holds earrings, bobby pins and other odd bits.
My sleep mask. I am a light sleeper and the slightest bit of light
prevents me from returning to my blissful slumber.
Makeup removing cloths. For the rare late evening where the task of
getting out of bed seems near impossible.
Moleskine Mini Notebook & Pen. Ideas pop up at the most random of times and it would bother me for a great idea to escape then to lose a few hours of sleep. During periods of time when I am being extraordinarily Type-A, I find it hard to relax without writing down important things necessary for the following day.
