I just bought a new Ipad 2 (I know, so late, I just never want the first version of anything) and have been downloading & accessorizing my handy little gadget for the past few days. Considering the Pope got an Ipad before me, I have a great deal of catching up to do (no I didn’t download his new Vatican website but let me know if its worth.
Here are a few of my favorite apps thus far:
~ The Sartorialist ~
~ Gilt.com for Ipad ~
~ Style.com’s App ~
Best for viewing runway videos during fashoin week, after party photo uploads and any breaking news regarding Anna Wintours cutting remarks on Gaga’s style, Nina Garcia’s career sudden change or the transcript of one of Galliano’s now famous rants.

I don’t consider myself any kind of cook, but I’ve used this app for a delicious steak tip recipe. Not only did the gorgeous accompanying photos make me even hungrier, there are thousands of delicious dishes and tips

Create looks (suggested personally), browse beauty trends and an array of accessories. You can even create a virtual wardrobe, adding pieces from each months issue of Vogue. Solid.
Gucci’s 500 line is gorgeous but a bit too simple for my tastes. I chose the above metallic gem and put myself on the waitlist for the Scribbly stylus due out late July.
Though most of my apps are fashion/style/beauty related I also adore Real Simple‘s app and plan to do a great deal more research. Feel free to comment with any of your favorite money, decor, style or current events based Ipad application!
