When I entered into my relationship with “M” I never anticipated all of the
happiness that would ensue, nor the opportunities.
Shortly after disclosing of my new relationship publicly on my blog, Target reached out to the two of us to participate in their Be Yourself, Together campaign.
This weekend we will attend one of his oldest friends wedding.
Procuring the perfect gift can be one of the toughest things to do while celebrating a new unity.
When brides and their groom are selecting stores to register, they are in search of a place with an immense diversity of products to fulfill the gaps in their needs as a married couple.
Enter Target Registry.
The perfect place for two special people coming together while maintaining
the unique identities that initially drew them to each other.
Target asked us to find two unique items that appeal to each
of us personally and even more so, as a couple.
We often find ourselves at Target naturally because of our constant need for things ranging from housewares, toiletries, snacks and a great deal more.
Our first attempt at completing this mission was an epic fail.
While I walked my stuffed donkey down each aisle, “M” nearly broke his tailbone in that bungee chair.
Luckily our second visit coincided with the release of a Fall favorite, Starbucks Pumpkin Spiced Latte. Caffeinated and on a mission “M” immediately dragged me into electronics.
Typical.
Music has certainly united us as our tastes overlap almost unnaturally, with M I feel comfortable enough to sing in the car (if you know how shy I am this is a big deal) and our experience at Country Fest is one I will absolutely never forget.
Though initially skeptical, I realized the Bose SoundLink Mini was a great choice for us as it emits an ultra-natural sound, connects wirelessly and provides up to 7 hours of nonstop playtime.
Since the SoundLink still felt like his choice, I roamed the aisles
to find something I could contribute to our collection.
While we are in the midst of planning our first vacation together we were not
in need of new luggage like the gorgeous pieces above from SwissGear.
Having two Keurig’s between us, the K75 did not find a home in our cart.
Both inherently drawn to nature I was happy to see my beloved Schwinn’s
were amongst the items you could add alongside appliances and bedding.
Whatever your combined tastes may be, remember what each of you bring to the relationship, as when combined the result is something absolutely beautiful.
We were provided a giftcard by Target to purchase the product(s) of our choosing however
the above thoughts and opinions are our own.
What are two things you feel you and your
significant other bring to the relationship?

September 13, 2013I looooved all your Target IG photos, they made me so happy! I definitely agree with "M" choice for the Bose system. Steve bought me one for Christmas (although, not wireless), and it is one of the best gifts he has even given me!
And now, at 6:10am, I am CRAVING a Pumpkin Spice Latte!
Happy Friday <3

September 18, 2013Oh we could never do a television show, I would embarrass myself FAR too many times and we're both relatively private people (despite all that I selectively disclose here.)
Sounds like someone else also has a Target problem, glad to know I am amongst good company xo
