Though I was sent the following products at no cost,
my shared thoughts and opinions are always candid.
Nearly almost every weekend I give myself a mini-makeover.
Small steps that over time net significant results while
fostering an environment of self-care.
Above are a few of my favorite products and tools used for weekend makeovers
and below are several others (some oldies but goodies) to add to your arsenal:
Step 1: Exfoliate (Fresh Sugar Face Polish)
I am all about exfoliating every inch of my skin.
Sloughing off dead skin to reveal a glowing, baby-soft surface.
Step 2: Ultra-hydration (Solvaderm Anti-wrinkle Treatment)
The best time to apply any high-efficacy facial treatment is after you
exfoliate as all of the nutrients will soak into your skin all the easier.
I am also a huge fan of the Revelations RX anti-aging mask that
is an absolute miracle, plumping and revitalizing skin pre-event.
I like to keep my skin fresh throughout the day with Evian facial spray
(especially while at the beach or post-workout!)
Step 3: Brighten Your Smile (gently)
I use the Crest two step 3-D White toothpaste typically on Saturday and follow with a
the whitening kit on Sunday should I want to enhance my results.
The professional Justified Laboratories whitening kit is both gentle and effective.
Step 4: Garner your glow from within
The weekend is the perfect time to spend a few extra moments making a vitamin-rich
smoothie complete with cleansing wheatgrass, skin smoothing chia seeds and harmful ray blocking spirulina. My skin always look best when I am incorporating these into my diet.
To cut the number of calories, opt to use half water half organic carrot
or no sugar added organic fruit juice instead of milk as your base.

Step 5: The Mental Makeover
Purging your closet can be such a release on the weekend, leaving you more organized
and spending less time shuffling through trying to find not that black cardigan
but the other black cardigan with the pearlescent buttons.
Mentally preparing for the week, indulging in pleasure reading (or some other passion project)
will have you starting the week feeling productive and personally satisfied.
What are some ways you give yourself a weekend makeover?
