When I received another extraordinary email from the team that worked on MasterCard’s Priceless Boston launch, I had a little more faith that this one had been delivered to the right person.
Was I available for a tour backstage before the Swan Lake matinee at the Boston Opera House? To meet both Mikko Nissinen and the principal dancers?
To relax in the benefactors lounge and then watch final bows from behind the curtain?
Again I shook my head with disbelief and had one of those moments where it was tough to keep it together realizing how fortunate I was to experience and document these moments in whatever way I wished.
How would I share this once in a lifetime evening? What is the best way for you to take in the gorgeous costumes, experience the most perfect, lithe creatures float by you and feel the adrenaline of each dancer during their final bows?
Not through my words and a few well staged photos.
Instead, I invite you to walk right alongside me in this experience.
For any of you that hope to have a similar one of your own and gain backstage access to other top shows like the Boston Pops, head to Priceless.com/Boston.
Thank you again to the MasterCard and Boston Ballet teams. You treated us like queens for a day and it was one I will never forget.
