The first time I went to Cosi, I took a bite of their Cosi Cobb sans bacon and scallions with sherry shallot dressing and closed my eyes in foodie bliss. I returned promptly the next day, no matter that it took me 20 minutes to get there. I quickly became obsessed.
I love restaurants that make it easy to order, will deliver it almost as quickly as a fast-food place but to your table as one would at a much slower-paced restaurant. Another element I crave is menu options that are both tasty and healthy. Not only do they offer various selections that are heart healthy and low-cal but the food is delicious! With your salad comes an oven baked grainy wheat flat-bread that is amazing and makes you feel a bit better than bread sticks or doughy rolls.
If you want to be naughty, they have a s’mores set-up which allows you to roast marshmallows right at your table.
Other Pluses: Free wireless, welcoming ambiance, inexpensive soy lattes, plenty of seating with limited comfy chairs (you’ll usually find me perched in one of the seats in the area in the back which is usually empty because most people never venture back there).
Though if you take a glance at Yelp several Bostonians have complained about the service, every time I have been there my order was correct and I was treated well. See you there!
