Blog Better Boston was a wonderful opportunity for us to meet other local bloggers, chat with sponsors a learn more about our craft from those we consider experts.
Roster was incredibly generous. I received that subtlety sequined
Boston Red Sox hat shown above and an adorable matching racer back tank.
They will definitely be my go-to for cute athletic apparel before heading to a game.
LuLu’s provided everyone an opportunity to win a piece of clothing or jewelry while getting to know our fellow bloggers via a Style Scavenger hunt.
We had to spot 10 bloggers wearing different trends (for example, peplum, a bold lip,
jewel tones, floral print etc) and then Instagram three with a specific hashtag.
Great marketing for LuLu’s as we will all be wearing their products and they received hundreds of mentions on Instagram, Twitter and our blog.

Attending Tieka of Selective Potential’s session on creating a media kit was so
eye-opening and helpful (especially after I was approached regarding an advertisement
contract the very day after the conference!)
She is so adorable in person, down to earth and sweet! Thank you Tieka!
Kristen of The Boston Fashionista led a session on Working with Brands which was
equally invaluable. I admire her ability to juggle so many commitments while always with a smile on her face and exuding a fashionable presence.
I loved Smita‘s session on 10 tips on How to Make Your Instagrams Better.
She was hilarious and I was so excited when I finally got to meet her (I did not think I was going to get to because she was swarmed immediately after she finished.)
She is endlessly talented and provided so many valuable insights. Thank you Smita!

I actually ran into Julie of Orchid Grey on the way into her session. She looked at me and asked if we had met before. We hadn’t and I told her as much but then I realized I had won one of her giveaways some time ago, maybe she just has that great of a memory!
Anyhow, she gave us the ins and outs of content calendar creation including her
own personal process which was amazingly helpful.
She is even more gorgeous in person and such a sweet person.
Meeting the ladies I have tweeted with for so long but never met in person.
