Boston Bloggers for G-Star Raw

Several weeks ago I took to the runway in collaboration with Jeff Lahens 

of Dresscode Boston and G-Star RAW.

An eclectic mix of bloggers were chosen to curate looks reflecting their own 

personal style, the winner being chosen via social media (a la Fashion Democracy.)

A few nights prior to the show we gathered for an evening of pampering 

and champagne at PhillipoStyle before getting down to business. 

A photo-shoot to produce the media for all promotional use while a fantastic 

DJ spun some of our favorite mash ups of old-school hip-hop hits.

Let us address how awkward I am. I do not do “sexy,” I can hardly manage sassy 

in front of the camera let alone 6-8 other models and management.

I hand it to those of you that do it each day. It certainly is not for the faint of heart.

The poor photographer tried giving me literally every prop in the studio, finally realizing

what would be most natural. Handing me a flute of champagne. Voila.

My favorite part of the entire experience? The lovely people I got to meet and get to 

know more deeply. Particularly the above pictured Vanessa of VanaVain Vintage.
