A lot has been going on, I’ve moved into a new house, have been busy decorating, maintaining a strict pre-summer diet/workout regimen, spending time with my lovely boyfriend and work, work, working! I love it! I’ll actually do an article on my summer preparation as I’ve already been asked a few times how I’ve dropped the weight I have and toned up so quickly. I definitely have my secrets!
I thought I’d kick off my reemergence with a list of a few of my current favorite things. With the move, I did a lot of healthy purging and purchased more than a few things to enhance my new life.
First and foremost is my baby, figuratively of course..I recently purchased the Louis Vuitton Damier Speedy 30 and have since experienced a tolerable amount of bag envy. It is the perfect bag for me, timeless and not in your face flashy as I feel the monograms are. However, one of the dilemmas I faced in carrying it, was my previous planner no longer fit in it. Enter this gorgeous, pink, patent Franklin Covey creation on the far right. it’s the perfect size and has a magnificent magnetic closure that easily makes it one of my favorite planners of all times.
While browsing Sara Campbell, a boutique located dangerously close to my work, I found the adorable pink embellished watch with a beach-safe rubber band that was fun and did not break the bank. I also picked up one of their pink and green “G” monograms. Did I have anything in mind to put it on? Of course not. Did I “need” it? Why yes. To the far left is my new spring color “Splash of Grenadine” by Essie’s Spring Resort Collection. Spring is all about florals and though I choose to wear my florals in small doses, this flirty, purpley-pink enhances the minimal printed pieces I do choose.
I also love my new Wii and all its accessories (yes I bought the pink controller which is mine and MINE alone to use). Not entirely necessary, but entertaining and my friends were a bit more excited about it than I was.
I decided this summer would be about leaving my comfort zone and doing some travel. I purchased a cute brown and pink travel bag also from Sara Campbell. A day later a coworker saw my bag and purchased the same in pink and green, one of my favorite color combinations. Needless to say, that one is now also a part of my collection. I justified this purchase with that rationalization that I would have to switch the two off so neither would get beat up too quickly.
Spring is all about renewal and new growth. I recently received a Decleor Aroma Expert Brightening Facial at Bella Sante. The treatment alone was so incredible without even mentioning the wonderful results. My skin is radiant, more even toned and more relaxed compared to the bit of dryness I was experiencing due to the change in weather.
This concludes my re-entry into the blogosphere. As always, if you have suggestions regarding topics you would like covered, do not hesitate to contact me via: aristobratblog@gmail.com
