Last year I made a vow to myself that I would really put myself out there, take calculated risks, make sure I was seizing each opportunity. Dance more, worry less. Travel.
Next week I head to Miami for a few days to stay in this gorgeous penthouse.
I plan to write on this very couch along with relax, read & photograph everything.
I will get in a bit of time at this pool. Floppy hat and cute coverup included.
Is it horrible that I want to try that Cuban coffee Khloe Kardashian became obsessed with?

The point of this post, is that I am slowly and surely making my dreams come true.
I am nervous and excited but most of all, I am proud of myself. Two years ago I was a scared
twenty-something who could not imagine jetting off for an impromptu four day weekend.

You should be proud of yourself because it's never easy stepping outside of your comfort zone BUT look what happened when you did 🙂 I always make a point of asking my daughter if she's proud of herself when she does something new instead of just telling her I'm proud. I want her to be familiar with that feeling and feel empowered even though she's only 6 🙂

May 4, 2013Sounds like a dream Georgina – I love Miami and as it is only an hour's flight from Jamaica, I get there alot. Love South Beach and staying on that end with the fab Lincoln Ave. shops nearby.
Cortadito is the name of the Cuban coffee, be careful as it is very strong!! but very delish too!

May 5, 2013You make me miss home!! Idk what the Cuban Coffee was, but it could be Cafe Con Leche. Basically it's milk and strong coffee…nbd. Make sure you go to the Art District and Coral Gables is neat too. LIV is the best club and it's at the Fountain Blue, which is amazeballs. Have fun!!
