I love fall just as much if not more than the next girl. Gorgeous New England
foliage, layering, warm tones, Fashion Week, pumpkin spiced lattes and
gold, gold, gold (mani, jeans et al.)
However, I am embracing the little bit of summer that is left – attempting to
remain in the moment. Sunshine, beach, sandals, mini-dresses, floppy hats.
I feel like I lost my groove for a bit – caught off guard by a somewhat horrendous
situation, a lot of time and effort (on my part of course) has now remedied it all.
I am moving into a gorgeous new place soon(ish) – working on my first book
and participating in as many late summer events as I possibly can.
Glitz & Glamour event tonight, cocktails poolside with the girls, lazy weekend
brunches and a Boston Blogger meetup next week!
All that said, I am still looking forward to fall. Already picturing my new fall
haircut, fashion week outfits (should have been done long ago.)
Lastly. I never acquired a Celine Boston Bag (travesty seeing as I am a
Boston Girl!) However, the Philip Lim Pashli will suffice. Or this Bourbon Bag below.

August 23, 2012I am a bit in denial that summer is almost over. As much as fall is my favorite season, summer is a close second! I am looking forward to the fall, but savoring the summer with nights spent outside with the citronella candles lit, days at the beach, and still wearing all my summer attire. π
Soon I'll be sipping on a pumpkin flavored coffee wearing my light sweater and riding boots while I'm admiring the autumn leaves. Until then…I'll be enjoying all I can! See you at the meet up on Monday!

August 24, 2012I am also so excited for Fall (and so jealous that you live in a place that actually has seasons!) Luckily Northern California gets colored foliage as Autumn hits, but besides that the weather is rather bipolar (as in it can be hailing in July and over a 100 degrees in December.)
Nonetheless I cannot wait for a season filled with boots, cashmere, and my favorite – the holiday season π
Your glitzy and glamourous event and cocktails poolside sounds like an amazing way to enjoy the last days of summer!
