A Few of My Favorites…

The weekend is here, I live for Fridays and waking on Saturday to no alarm clock. I woke up an hour later than usual today refreshed, most people cannot because of their sleep schedule. My secret? An eye mask that blocks out every bit of light.

So my first favorite thing is clearly Friday. In my office our Friday is a casual one and in my new position I am actually allowed to don denim (have I stressed how much I love my new job)?

I also work with some pretty chic ladies, one with a Burberry obsession, another with a Lilly. Did I die and go to heaven? No, just found the perfect job.

Second, I love the silky, drawstring, floral print shorts I am seeing in the warmer climates. I just may purchase and incorporate the spring floral trend into my wardrobe! Alexis Bellino debuted a great pair this past week during her nose job consultation in which she had a massive meltdown.

Not to worry, I’m sure there are others that also thought to fix a deviated septum their entire nose has to be removed and then put back on…

Beauty treatments, any and all kinds. I feel so lucky that my hair stylist takes me at her townhouse (for a fraction of the price) and will text me when she has last minute cancellations in case I need a pick me up. I’ve been going to this woman for eight years, I trust her with every strand on my head.

We’re also friends, we go out for drinks, dinner, she’s a wonderful person inside and out. She’ll be in my neighborhood this Sunday and is doing a thorough and much needed over-haul on my winter worn locks. Time for a spring refresher, and I think I’ll go longer – inspired by a recent article by Refinery 29 “Long Hair Hall of Fame.”

Marlo Hampton’s plastic raincoat for her Birkin on The Real Housewives of Atlanta sneak preview. This woman is incredibly extra in regards to everything. However, one must respect her shoe and handbag game. I don’t believe I’ve seen that much Hermes and Louboutin in one room, ever? I love her name too.

My new office accessories. Comfort and organization can still be chic! I ordered a pink wrist rest, pink/fuschia two-toned folders and a bevy of other rosy hued accessories to adorn my work area to add cheer during my work day.
