Anyone that knows me knows of my love of quality food. At work I am always asking my friends “What’s for lunch,” so often in fact that people now ask me what I’m having for lunch before I am even able to question them.
In keeping with my healthy lifestyle maintenance, I decided to (attempt) to document each of my lunches during the week. Doing so made me think twice about the choices I made.
One of my favorite meals this week were two Dr. Praegger’s california veggie burgers topped with the most vine-ripened slices of tomato, wrapped with crisp iceberg lettuce. Dessert was a pint of blackberries.
A go-to snack for me has always been cucumbers plucked fresh from the garden. A friend put a whole new spin on this obsession when she offered me a few slices garnished with a spicy black bean hummus.
The combination of a cool, mild cucumber with a small amount of this dip that packed a mighty punch had my taste buds singing.
Just recently have come an outpouring of requests and complimentary offers. Services, products and even more significant opportunities have been extended (some I cannot talk about until things are finalized) because people know how much I truly love to review such things.
My opinions are honest leaving no room for conjecture on how I feel about the service, product, dish or location.
That’s when it hit me, I can really do something here. I can help out amazing small business owners who I truly admire and respect while educating consumers on where to find quality product.
It gave me a really good feeling.
Goody’s Pizza is a small local pizza place on busy Concord Street in Framingham. Run by one of the nicest men I have ever encountered, Sam will welcome you warmly whether it is your first or 150th visit.
His own personal touches are placed on orders for those that seem receptive to variation (for example the Greek salad wrap pictured above – I know it looks similar to the tzatziki one I ordered a short time ago, also from Goody’s.)
Putting a new spin on the delicious and healthy dish, Sam sometimes adds the smallest amount of crispy bacon to this wrap to create the most savory concoction that I cannot wait to order again asap.
Everyone has something good to say about this kind and humble business owner and having sampled pizza, salad and wraps, I can safely give you my honest and knowledgeable two thumbs up.
What realizations have you come to regarding your blog?
