Let me preface this post with two things. Everyone should start their morning
with a little Whitney. When I was young, my mother would play some
Whit on Saturdays and I would sing along and dance in the living room.
Usually we started with “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”
I remember even as a little girl wondering if I would ever find someone
I wanted to dance with and what the “heat” she spoke of was. Oh to be young.
I was so shocked by her death I have had a hard time playing her music,
today is the first time I embraced it all again.
If you read one blog post today (besides mine) please make it this one.
It will change your life. Especially you expectant mothers.
Onto the food!
A few weeks ago I popped into an Attleboro restaurant I had received a
recommendation on. The name alone drew me in, Sangrias Tapas & Wine.
Our server Christina was incredibly enthusiastic, knowledgeable and sweet.
We started with the Portuguese Passion: a delicious mix of white riesling, Skyy
passion fruit vodka, pineapple juice, passion fruit puree, ginger ale and champagne.
Basically pure bliss in a cup. Thank goodness we got a pitcher.
What was your favorite meal this week?

December 15, 2012I'm Every Woman was my jam for an entire year. I just listened to it on repeat over and over. I even had a whole dance to it…which may have involved a chair now that I think about it. My poor parents! LOL
