As of late, my eating habits have been a bit predictable.
Raw everything, wheatgrass shakes and limited sugar/fat.
However, anyone that makes a lifestyle change knows the most important
thing to remember is to be flexible and realistic in your goals and methods.
No carbs at all? Hah. Not even the tiniest bit of cheese? Let’s be real.
In order to keep myself from going overboard or feeling deprived,
I eat a healthier version of what I crave, in moderation.
I went on an adorable date to a Mediterranean cafe within walking
distance of my new place where I ordered the Shawarma Beef plate.
The hummus that I scooped up with triangles of pita was incredibly savory
and the beef so tender! The salad was a nice light touch with a fresh dressing
and the light Tahini poured liberally atop it all brought it to a delectable perfection.
Of course we enjoyed Turkish coffees (delicious!)
My date ordered the Istanbul Kofte and was equally delighted in the quality
and quantity which he received.
What has been one of your
favorite meals most recently?
Happy Friday!

October 12, 2012You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but
I find this matter to be actually something which I think I would never understand.
It seems too complicated and extremely broad
for me. I'm looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
