It’s my second favorite day of the week and I am bursting with excitement at all of the amazing things taking place!
I have been offered additional writing opportunities that will both hone and broaden my writing skills (yes both).
I finally had a chance to get my manicure done in my new favorite color, Dior’s Saint-Tropez, it was made for my cappuccino colored skin!
The manicurist at my new salon was so adorable, bubbly and authentic. We chatted about our lives, loves and lists of luxuries we long for.
At the conclusion of my treatment she said something that made my breath catch. “I’m so glad I met you.”
Among the list of things changing in my life, I also moved into a new place (and there’s a great dance studio less than half a mile away I have resolved to become a member).
I love the freedom my move is providing me and the liveliness of moving out of quiet suburbia. There is so much more happening and much of it close to my doorstep.
Today I got a first glimpse at NOLBG’s (Notes on Lifestyle by Georgina) facelift. Bobbi is doing everything custom and she is the sweetest most amazing, genius, creative graphic designer I could never have imagined!
She is patient, flexible and so open to suggestions – if any of you are looking for someone to create a beautiful blog layout, she will make your graphic dreams a seemingly instant reality.
Beyond that has come a sudden outpouring of invites to events around Boston. I can’t say I’ve always been incredibly social, preferring much of the time to spend any free moments with a number of people I can count on one hand or writing/reading.
But I welcome this sudden influx into my social calendar and will do my best to chronicle each event with beautiful photography (I cannot wait for my new lens to arrive in the mail for the lovely camera gifted to me), colorful verbage and truthful anecdotes.
CoupBoston recently launched and I was not disappointed by the first issue. Enough fashion, art, beauty and decor features to quench my eternal lifestyle thirst.
I eagerly anticipate the second and happily noted a few of my Boston/MetroWest favorites spotlighted.
Enjoy your casual (I especially love creating a fun outfit on this day for this reason) Friday and weekend!
I plan to finish unpacking, drop into a dance class and work on some of the many new projects that have come my way.
