This photo was taken during my lunchtime workout yesterday – I have seriously rededicated myself to being active consistently.
It helps that there is a fantastic dance studio minutes away from my new place, full gym at my office and the weather is gorgeous enough for me to bike everywhere.
Other initiatives I have taken: eating smaller meals more frequently. Last night I had California Pizza Kitchens delicious Mediterranean Plate after my early dinner.
I have also resolved to attempt the recipes I have eyed longly like the avocado salad pictured above on Camille Styles, the plethora of vegan morsels on Pinterest, vegetarian dishes on TheEverygirl and several of my other favorite blogs.
Beyond just health, I went for my weekly blowout yesterday (during lunch) and decided to come back after work to get curls put in.
Now usually I am patient and understanding but the stylist took me late, and then spent a sweet hour and 15 minutes (literally, there was no hurrying this woman she was in her own world) blowing out my hair.
When I returned after 5, she charged me another $20 for the 5 minutes it took to throw a few horrible excuses of a curl in my hair. Not. Impressed. No more Ms. Nicegirl with the generous tips.
