Always desiring to have fresh plants in the house brightening each room,
it comes as no surprise that I aspire to delve more deeply into gardening this year.
Is that incredibly suburban of me? I do not mind if it is.
The therapeutic benefits of gardening seem worth whatever criticisms it may incite.
For this, a series of posts is due. Including all essential bits: will it be French style
containing berries, herbs and vegetables somewhat close to the house?
What tools are necessary (all fashionable of course) when should things be planted,
how much sunlight and water do each require – all of this will be answered.
One thing is certain, I will start small and begin with an inspiration
post to get glimpses of what may help shape my later choices.
Will this be all that I have the time for?
Can I one day achieve such beautiful hybrids?
What is the story behind water gardens?

&& Staying Social w/This Week’s Questions…
1. Favorite thing to do on a rainy day… clean, organize, beautify & blog
2. Favorite thing to do on a Summer weekend… relax at the beach with
friends, cool drinks, good music and juicy reads.
3. Favorite Spring Accessory… an airy floral scarf & my pale pink cruiser!
4. Favorite way to spend a Winter day? Curled up in front of a fire with a
cup of tea, “Coffee Shop Soundtrack” in the background playing on
my iPad speaker system and a good book or blogging project.
5. Favorite season and why… Fall most definitely. Heavy outfit-ruining
outwear is not yet needed, the leaves are changing and the color
palette is so incredibly flattering and warm.
6. Best birthday you’ve had… For me every birthday is a gift.

March 19, 2013That was my thought too when I was kind of plotting things out… "Am I becoming a rickety old lady who gets excited about…GARDENING!?" If so, oh well!

March 18, 2013Since we moved into our house, almost 2 years ago, I've really been meaning to do some major gardening. I want to plant some pretty colorful flowers around the house. But of course, I have yet to do that mostly because I am just terrible at gardening in general, haha. 🙂
