Her Haus: Simplicity in Bedroom Decor

The Centerpiece Leather Bed. As
the name implies, the main focus of a bedroom should be, well the bed. 
If you want to create a cohesive look, everything that surrounds the
said bed, should match in some manner.   

Though
some may see them as a bit masculine, leather beds have a strong presence (see Bed
Warehouse for options.) To give yours a warmer
look, cover it with bright colored throws and cushions like these.

Mason Jar Lighting. I
am guilty of drinking the Mason Jar kool-aid, I even have a pink painted one on
my desk at work with a burlap bow. I love that they add a touch of minimalist
style as they can for your bedroom. 

Creating a set of Mason jar lights that
hang over your bed is fairly easy
and not costly.

The Cultural Headboard. A
unique idea would be to place a neutral colored canvas over your bed, creating
a one-of-a-kind and artistic headboard. 

This is where something beautiful also
becomes functional, potentially even creating a object of discussion.
