Though there is certainly no need (as no one is awaiting my blog posts with bated breath)
I must apologize for my lack in updates lately.
Having recently been promoted after working towards it relentlessly, I have been focusing my full attention
on my career and additional professional development activities and classes.
So here is one of the many saved drafts I have for this very type of occasion.

Around this time every year I begin to get a bit restless.
With my closet, skin (more on that soon) and most definitely my hair.
Every woman knows that choosing a hairstyle can be a nightmare.
Get it wrong, and you have to live with an unflattering (or embarrassing) cut for at least a month or two.
When you want a particular style or cut, it’s most important that we think about our face shape.
Your hair should frame your face and bring out your best features, rather than cover them up.
If you are about to go to the salon, you should make sure that you know what you want.
If you go in there without a clue, you could end up having a hair disaster.
Follow this guide to find a style that will make you look like a Goddess.
Round face shapes
If you are lucky enough to have an oval face shape, it means that you can afford to work almost any hairstyle you want.
The best cut for you, though, will always be a super short boy cut or a pixie cut.
These styles work to focus the eye on your face shape and facial features.
If you have trouble deciding what style you want, you can try a few different ones and see which suits.
Thick bangs will also suit your face shape, as will a side-parting.
You should avoid straight, rigid styles as they will make cause the face to appear more masculine.
Now that you know what the ground rules are, you can go out there and get the perfect style for you.
Sometimes, it takes people a long time to find the right haircut for them.
Are you having serious thoughts about your hair?
Who would you currently trade locks with?

February 26, 2015I've been thinking of getting a tapered cut to my afro. I think it knowing your face shape is so very important. I think my shape is round.

March 22, 2015After seeing Jessica Alba’s new 'do I decided to go for a shorter bob, I hope I won’t regret the decision. I have quite a long face but lately it’s like everyone is taking the plunge and it looks so stylish and modern I just can’t help myself. .
