How to: Plan A Ladies Brunch

Brunch is an absolute weekend life essential that I consistently look forward to 

yet do not indulge in nearly enough.

After a recent blogger event I met some truly amazing women and knew a 

ladies brunch needed to take place in the very near future.

It got me thinking – what are the essential elements of brunch besides food?

After planning for a special afternoon, here are my thoughts:

How To Plan A Brunch Your Friends Will Never Forget:

1. Mimosa Bar: Sorry not sorry this is pretty much the focal point of my table.

The classic mimosa is nice, a mimosa bar is fresh and provides your guests with

delicious options, especially if they are not partial to orange juice like myself.

I display mine with a multitude of champagne bottles set in the background.

Next comes a row of gorgeous crystal pitchers of juice: orange, passion fruit, peach.

In the foremost row, I place bowls of fruit to garnish each flute.

 

 

2. La Nourriture: the food should be savory, varying (there must be healthy options)

and satisfying with a few unique dishes spread within the traditional.

 

 

I love doing egg/bacon cups, a vegetable laden frittata or quiche, sweet potato hash

and a multitude of other options alongside a massive fruit salad.

3. Decor: In my humble opinion, no table is complete without fresh flowers, 

brightly hued napkins, a gorgeous tray or two and several other key elements

to create the most stunning tablescape.

 

 

 

4. Ambiance: It is incredibly important for my guests to feel welcome at all times.

 

Subtle touches like beautiful background music, personalized place settings, 

goodie bags and the somewhat strict adherence to an aesthetically pleasing

color palette makes all the difference.

 

 

 

5. Outfit: My outfit is always the last touch to a fun event. I always select something

flattering that will allow a great deal of movement while making sure my guests

are taken care of or dealing with any spills or last minute details.
