There are so many wonderful aspects of being a Boston based lifestyle blogger, the friendships,
professional connections, beautiful events and of course having a small business of your own.
Where lies the difficulty is finding the time to do what you love (blog) while maintaining
the same level of excellence in all other areas of your life. As nothing else can slide.
At the end of Spring I received notification that I still had three weeks of vacation remaining
which would then regenerate, at the end of September. A girl needs some time off.

When you love what you do it can be easy to go that extra mile, everyday.
Dedicating yourself to the point of obsession.
To relax, rejuvenate yourself and have time to do the things you love,
sometimes you just have to schedule it.
When I learned of Breather, a company new to Boston that allows you to book beautiful, serene spaces in your space with just a swipe of your finger, I was intrigued as to how I could utilize some breathing time.

With a full day of appointments with culinary, beauty and fashion professionals I hopped into a beautiful car sent by Uber (who else loves that you can now stream your Spotify playlist while riding?)
Knowing I had several hours set aside in the midst of a flurry of blogger-esque “responsibilities”
was a like a proverbial glass of water while flailing around in the desert.
The space had natural light galore, sweet treats, beautiful decor and of course a fantastic selfie mirror.
After a relaxing manicure and quick stop at Emack & Bolio’s for a green smoothie,
I ordered dumplings via Eat24 and a bottle of rose via Drizly to be delivered while I settled in to work.
Wading through emails, updating old posts, prepping those to come, the time was well spent and truthfully I was a bit sad when I received notification that my driver was waiting downstairs.
Whether you’re taking a client meeting, using the space as a gathering spot for your group of blogger friends to snap outfit photo, or even to do a bit of yoga before your dinner reservations at Sonsie (most locations already come equipped with mats.)
Make sure you schedule some time for yourself.
We are all under immense pressure to perform in every area of our lives.
Don’t let that pressure come at a cost.

How would you use a few free hours?
I was provided complimentary time at the 36 Gloucester St
location in exchange for my honest review.
