By now you’re all aware of the struggle a fashion blogger in Boston faces during the winter months.
No breaks can be caught when it comes to below zero temps, blizzard-like conditions and
a pitifully consistent lack of sunlight. When the rare beautiful day appears,
we do what any self-respecting fashionphile would do; layer, layer layer.

More on Rocksbox soon, but should you wish to become a member of what has quickly become the Netflix of high-end jewelry; use code notesonlifestylexoxo to get your first month free.
I gravitate to the more understated classics, with the smaller elements
being my source of drama with color or texture.
Joules offers everything from classic Breton, floral printed raincoats,
tailored gilets and ladylike wellies with bow details.

March 21, 2015Never heard of them until now but I love all their stuff. I can never have enough stripes in my wardrobe and they have a LOT of striped everything, I think I found my newest obsession haha! Btw, love how you paired the dress with that collar.

March 22, 2015Hate the cold too, I almost never dress warm enough and I’m constantly freezing! I have my eyes on their Leycett shoulder bag, isn’t it cute? I need a mammoth bag to fit my trusty 50mm lens and my camera, plus the usual clutter I carry around with me.

March 22, 2015Thanks for the discount, I was thinking whether I should be joining Rocksbox or not but now it’s a no-brainer. The dress is super cute, great idea to go for a matching color of the faux fur, it looks very classy.

March 22, 2015I’ve been a Joules fan for a while now and they never disappointed me, great quality and cheap shipping. Too bad the dress is sold out, would have loved to buy it, the style and fit are right up my alley.

March 22, 2015Are you kidding me with that snow? Brrr, no wonder you need a million layers. I moved from New York to California and while I miss the layering for fashion purposes, I don’t miss those blizzards. Now I have the gold dots 2015 Kate Spade agenda but I think I’ll buy the cheetah one too, it’s too lovely.
