Fort McClary in Kittery, Maine |
I realize in jumping into things this week, I never shared photos from the weekend.
Though if you follow my Instagram you saw what I wore and where I went.
The wedding was wonderful as is any event that brings family together.
I never used to be such a softie but I almost always tear up at weddings now.
Seeing two people so in love has always been encouraging to me, that just maybe, one day I would find that person I could look in the eyes the very same way.
As part of the Amino Diet, there is a no alcohol rule.
Believe it or not, I have been faithful and not ingested a drop.
So when “M” tugged on my hand to get up and dance (of course pulling me right to the center of the floor) I was more than a tad bit nervous and reluctant.
I remained so through most of the first dance but by the second I had loosened up as he made me laugh, twirled me around and proved himself to have more than decent rhythm.
I forgot about everyone else, who might be watching or what anyone may think.
That was, until we were walking back to our seats and the wedding photographer stopped us and said she got a lot of really good photos of us.
And then the older Italian man that put his hand on either of our shoulders
unexpectedly to tell us we made a handsome couple.
As for the rest of the weekend, M put me through another rigorous workout at
the gym and we decided to head north to do some shopping at the Kittery outlets.
We drove along the coast and stopped at Fort McClary at Kittery Point.
I loved it if you cannot tell by the photos.
The drive was absolutely beautiful
I hope you all are having a wonderful week!
What do you have planned for the weekend?
