Life lately has been a whirlwind, but let’s be honest. When is it not for anyone working full-time and pursuing their passion project?
First up was a trip to Las Vegas for work where I stayed at The Venetian, dined (and partied a little) at Tao and there may have been a tiny bit of gambling (though not with my money.)
I love Vegas January through March as it is always freezing here in Boston, and the desert is a welcomed friend.
After resting my bones for a few days, I was off to Fort Meyers with Mastercard to interview David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox in conjunction with their Priceless Boston launch.
Video forthcoming but let me say, it was one of the most surreal experiences of my life. I cannot thank Mastercard and JetBlue enough.
The night after I returned happened to also be Tavern Road‘s 3 year anniversary party!
An impressive number of Boston’s best chefs prepared the most delicious dishes (more on that soon) and co-owner of Tavern Road Louis Dibiccari was such a gracious (and hilarious) host.
Janelle of The Sweet Scene and I sipped rosé and chatted with talented artist Brian Gordon (most likely you have seen his artwork in several of your favorite restaurants!)
Last and certainly not least, I attended the Qatar airlines press conference emcee’d by Giuliana Rancic and led by His Excellency Akbar Al Baker.
(Follow along on Snapchat to see exclusive behind the scenes photos and video: BostonGeorgina.)
There are some pretty exciting things upcoming and as always, thank you for reading!
