Are for rejuvenating the soul: catching up on sleep, slowing down on everyday tasks and
pursuing personal interests that are otherwise placed by the wayside.
{via} |
Are for indulging: in a new recipe, adding some foam to your coffee (the milk frother and pitcher I bought the Mister was SUCH an everyday luxe addition) or lingering over your favorite blogs and magazines.
{via} |
Are for catching up: on little projects, planning the upcoming short and much more manageable week ahead of you. For small but significant touches like rearranging those pieces of furniture that makes
all the difference in the feng shui of your living room.
{via} |
Are for reflecting: on your growth throughout the previous week, the aspects in the world around you that are changing your thoughts, how you are developing into the person you wish to become.
Maybe on your relationships, career, where you see yourself in a few months.
Then creating a plan based on your findings.
Long weekend are.. an absolute gift. Remember to be grateful.
How are you spending your long weekend?
XOXO

January 20, 2014I didn't get a long weekend. Health care apparently doesn't appreciate Martin Luther King Day as much as banks or financial companies do. But I did do a little rejuvenating on Saturday and Sunday π

January 22, 2014It's been so cold, Georgina, we've been staying inside. Time for me to enjoy my knitting or cleaning and organizing my closet(which I did). Actually, organizing my closet was good for my soul….just makes me feel so much better passing by it and seeing it all organized!! What a beautiful site you have, so glad I stopped by!! I'll be following along to gather my pieces of advice! Take care ~Barb
