Yesterday I picked up two products I have been itching to try – Garnier’s Beauty Balm (in Medium/Deep) & Revlon’s Color Burst Lip Butter in the newest shade Red Velvet.
The balm or “BB” as it is fondly referred to in commercials, is wonderfully creamy, glides on easily and has a deliciously light fragrance.
I found the “Medium/Deep” to be a bit too light for my complexion, but did not see a darker option. An easy fix for this; I mixed it with my foundation before finishing with a light dusting of my MAC mineralize powder.
I am in love with the lip butter. It feels heavenly during application and doesn’t dry out later. It even manages to maintain its pigment while remaining comfortably moisture-laden. I will definitely be going back for a few other colors – surely a nude hue. What new beauty products have you tested and found to love?Which were more of a miss?
