Most of the time I spend it planning, organizing, reading and writing. Those are four major loves of my life (after P of course). I allow my type-A personality to shut down slightly, and take a more relaxed approached to my weekend lists.
My morning cup of coffee is sipped at a much slower rate and a smile usually graces my face as I turn over my alarm clock. I keep it face down while I am sleeping in case I wake up during the night. Seeing 2:00 glare at me in angry green lettering is far from what I need when attempting to regain my peaceful slumber.
I take the time to go through blogs, comment and then explore the favorite blogs of my favorite tastemakers. My reading list usually expands 10-15 blogs a weekend.
Concrete plans are usually never made unless for a friends event for which of course I must make a commitment. I like to fly by the seat of my pants per-say and take things wherever my mind or stomach leads me.
This weekend was a dream. If you’d told me a year ago that I would be sitting at a dinner party with a gorgeous local socialite, NFL athlete and one of the most sought after stylists in Boston on Saturday night I would had a good laugh. If you told me this morning I would wake up and find that something I’d worked hard for years would be coming to fruition, I would never have believed it. It seems things are happening and I’m excited for the ride. More on that soon I promise. Make it a great week!

March 5, 2012I remember when my weekends used to be relaxing. What happened to that?

March 6, 2012I'm so glad to hear you had a good weekend. Mine haven't been nearly as relaxing as I'd like recently, but I'm making a commitment to try to relax more. I need it!
