Ripped Jeans|Ripped jeans lend such a relaxed vibe to an outfit, whether you go for a boyfriend fit or a a pair that is more fitted. Black jeans are perfect for the colder months (I like creating an all black look from head to toe), and a lighter wash is perfect on warmer days.
The more rips, the edgier the outfit seems. You can and absolutely should create your own.
Parka Por Favor|The stylish parka jacket is a staple here in New England that suits these upcoming chilly days. It goes perfectly with just about any outfit combination, adding a laid back touch.

Overalls|In case you didn’t get the memo, overalls are back. Whether you wear a cut off style or a longer pair, the look will always remain very 90s. They look great when paired with a plain t-shirt, and pair of Converses for a more casual look.
Pair them with your favorite pair of booties to instantly upgrade for an
evening out or roll around the ankles or a tapered cleaner look on the weekend.

Polka Dots|Appearing on tops, pants, dresses and especially accessories; polka dots provide a bit of feminine whimsy that can be made even more creative when mixed with varying sized dots and a multitude of colors.
Metallics|The metallic trend has been around for a bit and does not seem to be going anywhere any time soon. Choose the metallic tone that suits your coloring best; silver, gold, or rose gold.
Go all out metallic or add just a touch of shimmer. It’s up to you but adding even the
smallest bit instantly transforms any ordinary and likely somewhat boring ensemble.

The Furry Coat|These coats allow you to make a statement while remaining warm in the coats plush interior. Choose a color or print to suit your personality; leopard when you want to truly create a splash or a muted burgundy for a more understated elegance.
OTK Boots|It is officially boot season as the cooler weather is setting in (there was seriously frost on car windows yesterday when those of us in Boston awoke.) These boots always look fierce when paired with dresses and skirts, but I also love them when paired with the next trend on the list…

Cowl Neck Sweaters|I am one of those people that just cannot do turtlenecks. I opt for a cowl neck instead and almost always pair them with a pair of boots and fitted pencil skirt to create a polised look that is perfect for almost any occasion.
Try any one of these trends or mix a few together. Read more of my fashion musings here

October 7, 2014I love cowl necks, boots, polka dots on flowy blouses and gorgeous oversized sweaters. I will be rocking those as it gets colder with cute boots! Overalls… I've been noticing them and ignoring them! Don't tell me they're coming back- haha 😉 (…I'm now remembering my old 90s photos. Puffy hair and big overalls…sigh)

October 14, 2014I loved ripped jeans! I really want to try overalls but I'm too nervous that I wouldn't be able to pull them off.
