Many people proclaim their distaste for our Winters, without subtlety might I add.
Every season should be approached as a cyclical rebirth, a kind of adventure if you will.
We are so fortunate to have the ability (though not all embrace it) to enjoy each season for all it offers.
If not for the biting cold, our rich soy mochas would not taste quite as delicious.
Riding Boots; (here), Knee socks; Ralph Lauren, Scarf; gift from Paris |
If not for the snow, what would bring children those joyous days off from school?
I may be the most fanatical well-adjusted New Englander because I love Winter for all it affords us.
For we are led from the bitter cold, into the most beautiful of Springs.

February 20, 2014I wouldn't hate winter so much if it wasn't for all the SNOW. It can ruin plans and cause some pretty nasty accidents.
I much prefer autumn!
Georgina Castellucci
February 25, 2014It can definitely create some unforeseen obstacles, you're definitely right there Krysten π
Couture Carrie

February 20, 2014that backdrop is gorgeous, and you dress so cute for winter – no wonder you like the season so well π
Georgina Castellucci
February 25, 2014Thank you Jennifer, that is incredibly kind of you to say π
Bama Girl in AZ
February 20, 2014I LOVE winter. Of course living in AZ I don't get to experience it very much. Love your boots!
Georgina Castellucci
February 25, 2014I think Arizona would be an ideal place to spend the Winter (and thank you!) xo

February 20, 2014I love the snow so much so I do not mind winters an without the cold I wouldn't appreciate summer so much. But I still think New England winters are far too long. I don't need snow in April.
Georgina Castellucci
February 25, 2014I agree with that last statement especially π
Faith
February 20, 2014You have the best attitude! Loving your outfit too … looking so chic!
My favorite is the fall if not just for the foliage!
Georgina Castellucci
February 25, 2014Thank you so much Faith!! xo

February 21, 2014I'd have to go with fall. Chunky sweaters, cinnamon dolce lattes, gorgeous colors, crunching leaves beneath your feet
Georgina Castellucci
February 25, 2014Fall is my absolute favorite too (though I try to find positives about each season!) We need to have a CDL together one day xo
Lindsey Sampson
February 21, 2014Love the outfit! Oh, the struggle of New England winter is so real. Once I bought a coat suitable for the weather, though, the winter hasn't been bad. You can never appreciate a soy latte more than when it's -5 degrees on your way to work.
Georgina Castellucci
February 25, 2014YES Lindsey (you definitely understand my sentiments completely!) xo
Camille Marie
February 21, 2014It takes winter to value spring and summer, just like many other things in life. So, as much as I can complain, it is a reminder of the good with the bad, the hard with the easy. And even if it is "harder" it is still beautiful.
Georgina Castellucci
February 24, 2014I agree completely Camille, I love your sentiments on this xo

February 21, 2014I've found that winter is much more tolerable when I get over my lazy inclination to go out without proper winter wear – coat, hat, gloves, scarf. I know it sounds simple, but when we're rushing out the door to get the kids to school on time, it's tempting to skip those things. I always hate the cold A LOT less if I DON'T skip them though!
Georgina Castellucci
February 24, 2014That was the turning point for me Shana (or rather when M forced me into warmer clothes, thankfully.)
