Scenes from My Weekend

 Mint inverted french manicure. A 2 hour DIY because the only time

I paint my nails is during commercials (then let them dry while I watch the show.)

It works because my nails dry completely (as long as I begin painting during the first half.)

 

 

 

 

  I have lost about three pounds which is nice and fairly simple when I make 

a concerted effort, eating less/better and making a bit of time to workout.

Even if I am super tired I practice yoga. 

 

 This is what happens when I run out of coffee k-cups. Three bags = nausea and

remaining unbearably tired. Oh my. 

Warby Parker invited some of us in prior to their official opening on Newbury Street.

The women working there are fantastic, so sweet and clearly passionate about

the brand. They deserve their own post so more later.

But they helped me picked out a complimentary pair of frames which I should be 

receiving sometime soon. I selected the Zagg frames in Tennessee Whiskey.

 

 

 

 Then I popped over to the Peruvian Connection where the owner Annie was 

having a reception. I had such a wonderful time chatting with her about her 

company, the Boston location and her general aesthetic. 

She is an incredible woman and impossibly sweet. I suggest you pop in

the next time you find yourself on Newbury Street whether to pick up a gorgeous

piece for yourself or a one of a kind gift.

 Next I popped a block down Newbury Street for Ted Baker’s 

25th anniversary event with Courtney, Elissa & Kaitlin!

Andrae and I headed to Club Cafe (which is turning into our “spot”) for what I turned into

a late night brunch – starting with the Mediterranean plate (omg yum) then a Bloody Mary

and breakfast sandwich.

 

 

Saturday I needed some rest so I slept in and donned a super casual outfit 

(tank dress by Aude, silk jersey top by Splendid and Jcrew flipflops.)

 

 I got a lot done which was nice and then my friend came over and made me a delicious

(and healthy) dinner while we caught up over a glass of wine. 

Sunday was spent on Newbury Street yet again, doing a bit of shopping…

 & Beautifying (manicure, mini massage and finally a blowout at Salon Mario Russo!)

 

 

 

 I may have also indulged at The Proper Slice. Their prosicutto is far too tasty to pass up.
