Scenes from My Weekend

 I went for hot-pot with my friend and amazing colorist Andrae.

The food was delicious and the conversation, juicy.

Finally taking more steps in decorating – this shower curtain seemed just right. For now.

 

 

 

 An ombre sweatshirt (love the minty cuff) and fun Boston bag in a bright hue.

 

 

These two things (exercise and cleansing wheatgrass smoothies) have helped me drop

a few quick pounds and gain some extra energy. 

 I attended City Gusto’s beer and taco tasting at Patron’s in Allston (more on that

later) which was a lot of fun. 

 

 

 

 

I met Elissa of Style-Wire and she is every bit as sweet as you would imagine. We ended up embarking on an impromptu thrifting trip after the event.

 

 

 

I ended up finding a pretty sweater (Cynthia Rowley I think) and linen Lilly coverup. 

The two together cost less than $16. Elissa also spotted a striped Celine sweater.

 

 

The bartender Jeremiah had a bit of Sebastian Kidd wave going on.

 

 

Grown up Sunday morning breakfast. Who can read a food issue without having eaten first?

  

The Good

Doing a bit of shopping, spending time with friends, delicious food, I finally got my hair done, 

networking opportunities, getting some organizing and reading done.

The Bad

I brought a plus one to the CityGusto event who threw back each beer like they were shots

proceeding to get wasted, loud, spit while he talked and just be downright embarrassing.

The Ugly
