Friday morning I packed up a weekender and headed to the office
with a lightness in my step I have not felt in ages.
During lunch a group of us headed to the driving range to get some practice in and enjoy the sunshine. Personal note: my father brought me to the club for my first golf lesson
when I was quite young, the game has been of interest to me ever since.
When the clock crept well past 5, I headed to Boston’s oldest residential community,
the historic North End for a miniature staycation within my own city.
Susan of Lifestyle of a Fashionista and I began the evening with our friend Francesca at one of our favorite haunts, Bricco before heading to a much livelier scene at Society On High.
There is so much going on in Boston right now, as it has become the city du moment. The Greenway Open Market is now setup with the best local artists and independent designers and we spotted Johnny Depps convoy as he is town shooting a Whitey Bulger biopic.
Almost continuously we met people from all parts of the country, visiting for one reason or another. All equally (and rightly) enamored with our beautiful city.
We packed a great deal into our weekend so as that is it for now, day two will be posted in a bit. I hope your weekend was wonderful and thank you for stopping by!
Was has been the highlight of your weekend?
