I had such a wonderful weekend!
Saturday morning I immersed myself in work while enjoying a cup of coffee…
And a light breakfast of course.
We headed to REI to find me some hiking boots but as M loves to shop
the trip began with him trying on an assortment of outdoor gear.
After trying on dozens of pairs and making friends with the girls around me doing the same,
I found the perfect pair!
We enjoyed a lovely dinner with M’s brother and girlfriend at one of our favorite restaurants…
Sunday we headed to service and then quickly changed before
heading north for a hike at Franconia Notch.
I had so much fun and really put my new boots, spikes and hiking pants to great use.
We were ravenous after our little excursion and cooked dinner together
before settling in for an early evening in preparation of the week ahead.

February 3, 2014You put the hiking gear to use right away – good for you. I'd say the highlight of our weekend was the Super Bowl party we hosted last night. Counting ourselves, there were 11 adults, two teens, and 10 kids in our house. It was so much fun.
