The weekend kicked off wonderfully (and quite sparkly due
to my favorite new monogrammed wallpaper!)

Saturday was a luxury, sleeping in a bit and relaxing in a spot where the sun was
streaming in, drinking my coffee and ruminating on what was to come for the weekend.
We decided to do a bit of shopping!

Then headed to the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem.

Before heading home we stopped for cappuccinos….
Sunday was M’s birthday and I had a full day of surprises in store!

| Erin of ELM Events had created a “Happy Birthday” sign and took photos to commemorate the day (and gave him a sweet gift and card, thank you again Erin!) |
Local Love happened to coincide with his special day so after morning service I convinced him to browse each booth with me so he could pick something locally made as part of his gift.

| Calligrapher Julie of Posh & Prep created a personalized card, Dustin of Bad Boy Bake Shop baked him a special treat, Sarah Wormann create a one of a kind print for him of our favorite lyrics and Kinesha of Cameo Macaron created a batch of his favorite macarons! |
I
had reached out to some of the vendors to create personalized pieces to
surprise him with when we arrived at their tables.
I loved how special
everyone made him feel, thank you to each and every one of you!

Following Local Love, I told him I wanted to treat him to brunch and brought him to Oak Long Bar & Kitchen where I had gathered 10 of his nearest and dearest to surprise him and celebrate with us!
I had contacted management the week prior and they treated him like an absolute king, even crafting him a one of a kind drink and bringing out lots of birthday desserts! (Thank you Jennifer!)
We ended the weekend with a low key evening,
sending out thank you messages and relaxing before bed.
I was continuously reminded how truly fortunate we are these
past three days and especially how lucky I am.
