Though a bit belated, my weekend was far too enjoyable to not deserve even the briefest of recaps.
Having moved into a new area, I went to a new salon for my weekly blowout. As it was only a wash, deep treat and blow dry, I was still hesitant as I am quite protective when it comes to my hair.
It took a great deal longer than expected, but I was pleasantly surprised and was even able
to receive a manicure before heading to a party with M Saturday evening.
Sunday we spent time with friends and enjoyed the most delicious cups of coffee at
one of our favorite places, Haute Coffee in Concord.
We enjoyed the Rwanda & Peru blends with the olive oil lemon cake..
An arugula & goat cheese tartine and egg sandwiches on fresh brioche.
We popped into of a few shops..
Twin Seafood for their Crab & Corn chowder
Concord Teacakes for a few indulgent sweets.
We love Concord, for its quiet elegance and immense historical value to New England. So it should come as no surprise that we spent a bit of time sightseeing within our backyard.
Settling in early Sunday evening was a must as though we lost an hour, we gained it at the most perfect of times (and are now gifted daily with stunning sunsets during our commutes each evening!)
What was the highlight of your weekend?
