I am so grateful for all of the challenges life throws our way, both small and monumental.
I did a bit of shopping for Amy’s hostess gift as she planned the blogger brunch on Sunday.
I ended up trying on several coats in Zara. Way too many Fall goodies.
The girls in Madewell were also incredibly helpful as you can tell from the bag beside me.
Saturday I got a manicure in preparation of a blogger brunch on Sunday.
A rich plum for Fall and to match my new maroon bomber jacket from Zara.
We enjoyed another wonderful brunch at Angie’s in Newburyport.
Later, while browsing in a little jewelry shop I love, a woman approached us and told us
of another shop nearby that had vintage pieces.
It was so random but I love pieces with history so we popped right over.
I found the most exquisite diamond ring set in rose gold and “M” immediately inquired about it.
The shop owner asked if he would like the information for it and I quickly said “Oh that isn’t necessary.”
I saw her slip it to him anyhow!
We drove out to Plum Island, one of my absolute favorite places where we met the handsome fellow above, Scoop! Boy did he ham it up for the camera.
Sundays plans changed unexpectedly but thankfully things worked out.
Exhausted, we slept in and then had a quiet movie night.
I see this x1345902934 on my two minute commute to the office.
How lucky am I?
