Scenes From My Weekend

 

 

 

 Friday evening we went to one of our favorite restaurants, The Common Man.

The food is so delicious and decor; traditional with a twist.

We headed to Portsmouth on Saturday to do some shopping and enjoy lunch at another one of our favorites, Popovers on the Square. Fresh, light and healthy.

 After recently doing some shopping of his own Friday, M was looking particularly fashionable so I decided to snap a photo or two.

 

 

 

 

 

We decided to have a night in after seeing Delivery Man (hilarious) and I voted that we pick up the ingredients to make cookies on the way home. We indulged in some buttercream frosting too!

Sunday was a yummy brunch at Maddie’s yet again (look at M’s monster deep dish omelet!?)

 

 

 

That afternoon we headed to the Festival of Trees. Local businesses each decorated the most original and beautiful trees which people can enter to win (along with all sorts of prizes.)

 

 

 

 I loved this “tree” in particular, the title of it was some pun I have uselessly forgotten…

 

 

We spent the evening making dinner (taco night) and relaxing 

as it was back to work early Monday morning!
