I am not sure what I have done to deserve what has become recurring weekends of perfection, but I am certainly enjoying each and every second.
This weekend Matt and I went to Country Fest and let me tell you, it was life. changing.
First and foremost I am so grateful that he got us the tickets. Box seats. A week before the concert.
So handsome, if you’re reading this, thank you so so so much!
I am incredibly lucky and I do not forget it for a second!
Let’s talk about Kenny Chesney.
One of the most engaging performers I have ever seen. So much genuine energy and his obvious love for Boston warms my heart. When he sang “She’s From Boston” we all sang along and it was one of those perfect Summer moments I will never forget.
Sunday we headed to Portsmouth for the day.
The weather was perfect and we just walked everywhere, paying special attention to Congress Street where there are countless adorable shops and cafes.
We enjoyed fresh brewed mango iced tea and a capp on the patio of Breaking New Grounds, only interrupted once by a pair of monks selling us yoga and philosophy books.
We had lunch at Popovers on the Square, chatting and making friends the entire time.
We made a stop at The Juicery (I first wrote about it in 2009 here) for fresh wheatgrass shots and a Green Power smoothie with an added The Good Doctor Green supplement
I love these outdoor benches built right into the wood framing.
Matt suggested we take the scenic route home, along Newburyport, Salisbury and Hampton Beach.
I am so glad we did.

When we got home we ordered in tons of food from this amazing Italian place nearby, completely overeating due to our hunger after the miles we had walked while exploring.
