For those of you that know me personally, you are aware that I don glasses about 40% of the time. My eyesight has not worsened (or improved) in the 7 years since I purchased the pair of Gucci frames that are my go-tos.
Lately however, my beloved spectacles have seemed a bit worse for wear. One of the g’s have fallen off and they’re a tad loose when they should fit snug against my temples. In short, it seems the time has come to buy glasses.
Because I love the intellectually chic look so much, I’ve purchased the infamous Tom Ford-esque readers that everyone from the likes of Cynthia Bailey to models still walking the catwalk rock on a daily basis.
Above is a picture of the Gucci eyeglasses and below, one of me in my readers. My conundrum now is where to replace them without the $600 price tag this time (let’s be clear, I obviously got 7 years of my moneys worth).
My solution came from a friend that mentioned GlassesUSA.com I am the most picky of glasses shoppers yet a sucker for a great deal on a quality product and decided to explore the steps necessary to select online eyeglasses.
I actually found a pair that is a hybrid of the two mentioned above and yet a few others that are a bit hard to walk away from.
The Eisenhower Black seem like perfection & after getting a ridiculously accurate portrayal of how I will look in them with their Virtual Mirror, I’m sold.
My eye doctor needs to fax over my current prescription and they’re mine! Their transaction setup is quite seamless making the process easy and quick. Two things glasses shopping have never before been.
