1. I ate two donuts on Thursday. A few of my coworkers promised our team (casual corporate softball) donuts because of our hard work on the field. No restraint…
2. I wear my glasses a lot to deflect male attention. Because I’m awkward and wonder
what hideousness is lurking on my face that provokes their glance lol.)
3. Correlating with number two..I embarrass somewhat easily.
4. This week I listened to “One Thing” by One Direction at least twice while biking to work.
I may have even sang the chorus line in my cheesy pop-voice too.
5. I spilled my iced coffee all over my desk Friday morning, so there will be
a lingering eau de french vanilla scent emanating for some time to come.
6. I am spastic. When having drinks with coworkers Friday afternoon I managed an attempt at smoothly sliding a menu off the table. No such luck. I whipped someones
sunglasses so far off the table we thought they had snapped in two. Also see #5.
7. Pantone‘s fall color palette (which forecasts the most popular colors for fall) was just
released last week. I got a peek at them about three months ago. Teehee.
Give me a confession, any confession!

August 5, 2012I love meeting fellow awkward humans. I come across as being super cool, but I am the biggest effing dork EVER. I run into things constantly. That's my thing.

August 5, 2012Gorgeous colors for fall, I like every single one of them. And it's OK that you sing along to One Direction… as long as you don't judge me while I'm jamming along in my car to Girlfriend by Justin Bieber, haha. But the windows are up, so nobody knows, so it's OK. π
Found you through the Sunday Confessions Link up, thanks for sharing!

August 6, 2012Hahaha, that glasses thing sounds like something I would do (the breaking part, not the wearing part).
I wish my office had softball! And I wish I could bike to work! It's so ridiculously hot out here that I'd be a freaking sloppy mess by the time I got there. Plus we live pretty far away.
Thanks for linking up!

August 8, 2012In your opinion where is the best place to meet men
Georgina Castellucci
August 8, 2012I meet men literally everywhere (without trying, I have no intention – let's be clear) but I guess back in the days when I actually WANTED to meet them, these were the places I was approached the most:
1. Out for dinner/drinks with my girlfriends. Guys always snuck glances or smiles while we were grouped together but later approached me when I was getting a drink or coming back from the bathroom. Breaking away for a bit can be a bit less intimidating.
2. The gym. Sad and cliche I know but all types, shapes and sizes attempted suave come-ons. Don't begin talking to (and then dating) someone who goes to your gym. It almost never works out.
3. My everyday spots: Starbucks, Whole Foods, the convenience store on the corner and while getting gas. I'm not sure why, there was no encouragement on my behalf. I have no explanation for this.
4. While on vacation. Maybe we all give off this amazing stress-free energy that is contagious because I can't remember a vacation I took (as a single girl) where I didn't meet at least one charmer.
Nowadays it seems my pink cruiser (bicycle) provokes men to make all sorts of idiotic (but sweet) comments while I'm riding. I guess because it's so cheerful?
Feel free to email me with any other questions: georgina@notesonlifestylebygeorgina.com
I hope this helps π

August 8, 2012Lol no dating sites for you?
Georgina Castellucci
August 8, 2012Touche! I have met someone from a dating site before OkCupid. Previously someone I ended up dating had seen my profile on Match before meeting me in person (he later confessed this after we had been dating for a month or so – that he had seen my photo, read my profile and decided I was perfect for him lol.)
Lots of young women I know are now in committed relationships (a few are even married) to men they have met on dating sites! The best thing you can do is just be beyond honest about yourself, interests, personality and what you want. Everyone deserves true love!

August 8, 2012Thanks……just got to be careful with the guys on there. Most seem to good to be true, and most have girlfriends, wives, etc, you just never know. Good luck to you as well…

August 9, 2012Thank you! I'm pretty careful, a lot more-so than guys would like lol. Mama didn't raise a fool (not that trusting girls are fools by any means) but I'd rather be really safe than sorry.

August 9, 2012I just got your latest cryptic comment – kind of weird. I'm not sure which you are talking about but I appreciate the "heads up?"
