1. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be, and why? I love Boston and New England, my favorite areas for main residence are Charlestown and Cambridge. If I could also maintain a house in Oaks Bluff on Martha’s Vineyard for spring and summer getaways, I would be content.

2. What is your favorite lipstick? I tend to favor lip glosses more frequently, my favorite is Chanel Glossimer in Unity as it is not sticky and is moisturizing for my lips! When I do wear lipstick, I choose Chanel’s No. 9 Rouge Allure Luminous Satin Lipstick in Emotive or Excessive (when I prefer a dramatic red look).
3. What is your favorite perfume? I feel like a walking Chanel advertisement but my go-to is Chanel Chance. I wore it all through college and still favor it as it is a classic scent that can be worn year round. A few of my old favorites are: Dolce & Gabbana “Light Blue” and Burberry Classic in the oval bottle.
4. If you were to walk out of your house, and could only put one cosmetic product on what would it be? Just brow pencil. I receive facials fairly regularly so my skin is clear and without discoloration. I am quite particular about my brows however, as they frame the face and can take a beautiful girl from looking disheveled to put together instantly.
5. Do you work out in the gym or at home? Both! My current place has a full gym so a good workout is just a few steps downstairs. Occasionally if I do not have time to workout in the morning, I will do 45 minutes of cardio during my lunch hour at the office gym or after work.
6. When it comes to fitness and staying in shape what do you find is your biggest challenge? Fitness is incredibly important to me and something I make a priority.
Whether it is cardio (elliptical), thirty minutes of Pilates on the Reformer, riding my cheerful pink cruiser around the neighborhood, or hiking at Blue Hills with friends, I workout nearly every day. My only challenge would be finding ways to keep it interesting!
7. What’s the first thing you check out on a man when you meet him? This is tough because looking back on the spectrum of men I have dated, they have ranged from an assortment of looks/personal styles.
The one trait that has been consistent is their warmth and honest personalities. Beyond that, I can appreciate a gorgeous smile and neat overall appearance.
8. What is your biggest turn off when it comes to men? Dishonesty, bad hygiene, lack of manners and negativity.
I would never expect anyone to tell me their life story immediately, however what you do share, I expect to be the truth. This is always reciprocated.
9. If you could go on a date with a famous celebrity who would it be? I used to have a ready-made answer to this, but nowadays there is only one man I am interested in.
Many people do idolize celebrities because of their good looks and toned bodies but I have quickly come to realize how important personality and chemistry are. Looks are incredibly short-lived, I want someone who is my best friend, that will last a lifetime.
10. What is your night skin care routine like? This varies depending on the night but during the week I cleanse with Mario.B’s enzyme cleanser, tone with Phytomer’s Rose Visage and then apply a thin layer of Carita’s Perfect Cream.
Once a week I apply an exfoliating mask (I love Decleor) or use a professional grade glycolic. I apply the exfoliating mask before the shower and let the warm steam open my pores for better results.
The glycolic is something more complex and not something everyone should attempt without professional guidance, at least in the beginning.
11. If you won a Million dollars in the Lottery tonight, what would be the three first things you would do with the money? Hire a financial planner to make sure that money doubles in 15 – 20 years and continue working at my current job.
I may book a nicer vacation, purchase a fantastic SLR camera and sign up for a writing class I have been considering, but I began contributing to my 401k when I turned 21. I would rather secure my financial future then waste it on frivolity I can save for with my current salary.
When I turn 50 I will be a millionaire (people that put aside 8% of their salary beginning at 30 years of age typically will have 1 million saved by the time they retire at 65). I am far more aggressive and have begun that journey early.
Have a wonderful day!
