I had the most amazing dinner last night – literally melt in your mouth goodness. Sel de la Terre has been one of my favorite restaurants for some time now, I have never had a bad experience.
After starting our meal with fun cocktails (me, the Sonora – tequila, grapefruit, agave) and a starter of their infamous rosemary frites, I indulged and ordered the herb roasted chicken: homemade tagliatelle, shiitake mushrooms, English peas, liberally smothered in the most savory bacon vinaigrette.
Clearly I like to talk about food. We paired it with a fantastic bottle of pinot noir that I wish I remembered the name of.
A friend of mine and well-known entrepreneur in Boston once told me about how he was with his grandfather when he passed from this life. On his deathbed, he remarked “I did it all and I’m not afraid of what is to come.”
This is exactly how I’d like to live my life, falling blissfully in love, touching the lives of others daily and working relentlessly to see my dreams reach fruition. I don’t want to look back and wonder what if.
Blogging has opened up a lot of doors (already) for me – I am so excited about the events and experiences to come. People are giving me chances I am so grateful for – I don’t want to miss a minute.
Wishing you happiness and success this Thursday.
XOXO
