Inspired by Julie’s post yesterday, I decided it to be somewhat imperative
to make a few goals of my own this fall – before it gets away from me.
There are several activities that will not make an appearance on this list.
I live in New England so apple picking and pumpkin carving are standard.
With that said…
1. Try Hard Cider: yes I am cool and have never experienced this phenomenon.
That was quick. Angry Orchard Crisp Apple is delicious but will be enjoyed
rarely. At 200 calories a bottle it has me thinking can a girl get a lite version?
2. Take a slow drive through the foliage. Appreciate the natural beauty
while maintaining toasty buns because my seat warmer is on full blast.
3. Photograph everything essentially autumn. Edit. Share. Repeat.
3. Bake a seasonal goodie for my coworkers/boyfriend. Pumpkin muffins,
caramel apple cinnamon rolls, leaf shaped cookies or the like.
4. Replace my boot collection, one piece at a time. Sadly the collection
was lost due to an unfortunate situation. Things happen and things are only that. Things.
5. Work on my warm and cozywear. Read: Vince, cowl necks, cashmere, capes,
burnt orange, buttery leathers, layering, driving gloves, knee socks, smoking slippers.
6. Attempt a fall-esque DIY project like these adorable candy corn centerpieces
or a pumpkin…bottle holder…
7. Do something so out of character that induces sweat, hyperventilation and makes me want to run and hide but stay. Last night I was filmed by a major
network. I can’t talk about which or for what. I am so glad I did it and have a
new respect for actors/actresses and yes…even reality stars.
What are you looking forward to this fall?
