It may be a bit ironic that I’m making a Workout Wednesday post on the day I am finally getting back into the gym after an almost two week hiatus.
I allowed my body some time to rest/heal and feel pretty much back to normal so it is most definitely time to pump some iron (kind of).
- Juice base – usually carrot, never dairy
- Fresh and organic black, blue and strawberries,
- Pineapple, mango, ground chia seed for Omega-3,
- One packet of ground wheatgrass – blended well.
This shake is ridiculously filling and most of the time I cannot think of eating a thing until 11:30.
My meals are mainly lean protein, low carb, high in fresh fruits and vegetables. Grilled chicken, quinoa, veggie burgers wrapped in lettuce, a caprese salad drizzled with delicious balsamic as an occasional treat.
Think of a workout, Endomondo tracks it. Yoga, free weights,
swimming, dance and more. I love looking at my month, seeing how many
workouts I got in, how much closer I am to “Making a trip around the
world” and so many other fun details.
