Many of us have a bucket list of things to see and do before we die (or we’re just too tied
down with life). A lot of things on that list typically involve some travel.
You might want to see an iconic landmark, or stay in an incredible hotel.
But have you thought about adding France to that list?
I am pretty confident there are one or two things you may be interested in putting on that list of yours.
France is conveniently in Europe, so for all you still wanting to explore Europe, France could be a wonderful first stop. It’s also one of the biggest countries in Europe, so there is plenty to see.
France is most famously home to the world’s most romantic landmark – the Eiffel Tower.
There are movies set in Paris, and even famous portraits set in this iconic city.
For a romantic getaway, not many people would turn down the chance to spend it in Paris.
If you’re looking for the most incredible beach holiday of your life, then one of your best options would be Biarritz. As a destination, Biarritz has everything you could want and more.
Surfers gather there every year. If you’ve never tried surfing, then Biarritz is surprisingly
one of the top places to learn. It is also home to one of the oldest golf clubs in the world.
This resort is also popular for people wanting the ultimate health spa experience.
For glamour and fun in the sun, head to Biarritz (and let me know your thoughts!)
France is also one of the best destinations in the world for skiing.
There are usually several months of good snow to wow even the best skiers out there.
Chamonix at Mont Blanc is one of the most popular in the world.
It has a wealth of activities for you to try all year round too.
Tignes has some of the most beautiful lakes in France.
For winter activities and incredible photo opportunities, this one can’t be missed.
The beautiful countryside of France is home to many castles and chateaux.
One of the best things about this country is the variety of accommodations.
For something truly French you should seek out one of the typical south of France villages.
Villas and cottages in these remote areas offer you luxury living in the quiet countryside. Y
ou are surrounded by everything that is traditional in French living.
Wine and food are very important to the French. They grow the grapes to make some of the most incredible wines in the world.
For a little taste of luxury, why not visit the Champagne region?
Drinking true Champagne in its home-grown winery has to be on everyone’s bucket list!
There are numerous tours. But you might prefer to make your own way.
The countryside has some stunning landscapes to enjoy.
You can get lost in the wine country and make the most of what this area has to offer.
France has something to offer everyone. Whether you are an old romantic,
or you’re looking more for action and adventure, it can all be found here.
France just always seems like a wonderful idea, no?
XOXO

October 2, 2015love this 🙂 I've done a bit of traveling around France – Paris, Marseilles, Cassis, Nice and Chamonix. I would add Cassis to this list, the Calanques are incredible. And I conquer, the skiing in Chamonix is the best, it snowed every night when we were there in late February.

October 14, 2015Paris has beautiful scenery but the fact that no one speaks proper English there prevents me from visiting it. I don’t want to stress over getting lost and no one understands what I ask.
