Update & My First Photos

I had a wonderful Easter weekend, productive, relaxing and delicious! I woke up on Saturday and resolved that I was definitely going to head to the hip-hop class at the studio near my new place.

So I did – and loved it! I met some wonderful ladies, got invited to another class the next day and had a great workout. Though I am outgoing, going to group activities by myself can sometimes seem a bit daunting, so I was proud of myself.

In the spring neon spirit, I picked up a bright pink duffle to use as my new dance/gym bag. I love the deep purple zig-zags on its handle.

Saturday I went to a lovely dinner at one of my local go-tos – Papa Razzi.

A starter of sweet and savory bruschetta, paired with a delicate prosecco was followed by the Pollo Alla Valdostana (grilled chicken breast with prosciutto, fontina, marsala and wild mushrooms).

I am a girl that never finishes her dinner but always wants dessert. That evening was no exception – their delicious chocolate ending the meal on the sweetest note possible.

My lens came in for my new Canon and I have been snapping photos left and right – I am obsessed! My favorite thus far is above.

Outside of my office are trees full of these delicate little blossoms – the overall effect is breathtaking.
